BCockpit Android App - Search

In our previous article, we announced the introduction of the BCockpit Android App. Please download it from Google Play. We will show now how intuitive, simple and user-friendly its search engine functionality is.

After reading BCockpit´s Tutorial and uploading your first excel file into the BCockpit web version, you will be able to enjoy our Android app. Please note that you are highly encouraged to insert as many MS Excel fields as possible, especially, addresses in order to gain maximum benefit.

Looking at the above image, you will see that you have a blank screen with just a search engine. If you click on Contacts Map, you will see your map with all contacts around your present position.

However, if you want to be more specific, you can search by company or person (i.e., first or last name). For each contact, you will see three icons: email, location and call. If you want to send an email, click on the email icon. You can choose to send a message from your main email or your gmail account. If you want to make a call, just click on the phone icon. You will be able to call from your regular phone or using your Skype account.

Moving on to the image below, if you want to find a location, click on the location icon. BCockpit will zoom into that specific area. If you are nearby, your personal icon will appear on the screen and you will see how to get to the location that you are looking for. In addition, you can also explore street view functionality and drag the yellow man icon onto the map and find your final destination. A company icon will show that you are at the right place.

As you can see, BCockpit is very useful in many situations:

1. Search and reach contact details promptly
2. Make phone calls
3. Send emails while on the road
4. Get directions on Google Maps / Street View. This is especially important when you are in an area for the first time in life
5. Recover all contacts immediately in case of phone robbery/loss/damage

Our next step is to integrate BCockpit with several leading companies in order to offer more and more tangible benefits to our users.
